Dewulf, a renowned Belgian designer, is celebrated for his expressive, lacquered pieces that transform everyday objects into statement artworks. Perfect for collectors of contemporary design and artful interiors. Belgian designer Koenraad Dewulf is known for his expressive, often lacquered furniture, which transforms everyday objects into statement pieces. Tichon exemplifies this approach to furniture as functional art: a strong form, taut lines and a sensuous finish that blurs the boundary between design and sculpture. Signed by the artist himself, this coffee table dates from 1993, a time when the Belgian design scene, much like its French and Italian counterparts in the same decade, was championing formal experimentation and signature pieces. A unique work, intended for collectors of design.
