Description
Simone Negri Accadimento #200 Wall sculpture Porcelain stoneware with black glaze 2025 H51 W39 D9 cm Numbered 200, this piece marks a symbolic milestone in the Accadimento series that the Italian ceramicist Simone Negri has been developing for several years. The dense, fine-grained porcelain stoneware allows for sharp edges and taut surfaces, which the black glaze transforms into a play of light and shadow. The title, ‘event’, serves as a reminder that each work is the result of a unique interaction with the material rather than a pre-existing design. With its format, reminiscent of a painting, this wall sculpture forms part of the dialogue between ceramics and abstract painting.
