The title, ‘Stone Temple’, highlights the ambition behind this piece: a vase conceived as a piece of architecture, whose vertical silhouette, standing over sixty centimetres tall, evokes a monolith. Andriy and Olesya Voznicki work with clay and oxides to achieve a surface with a mineral quality, reminiscent of stone. The number 25 identifies the piece as part of an ongoing series, comprising unique examples. A recent work, straddling the line between functional ceramics and sculpture, for lovers of raw, architecturally inspired forms.
