Description
Robin Grugeaux Lighthouse Sculpture Pewter Handcrafted cast iron 2025 H17 L5cm Inspired by the work of Francesco Somaini, an Italian sculptor of the Informel movement who used torn and cast metal as a medium for expression, this small vertical sculpture evokes, through its title, the silhouette of a lighthouse. Robin Grugeaux works with hand-cast pewter, an ancient metal with a soft grey hue, which retains the traces of the mould and the artist’s touch. The piece’s slender verticality, just five centimetres wide, gives it the presence of a small monument.
