Rocks from my Memories II
Two vases
Ceramic, engobe, glaze
One-off pieces
Signed
Date of creation: 2025
H60cm
Through its title, ‘Rocks from my Memories’, this pair of vases translates an inner landscape into ceramic form: mineral-like silhouettes, sixty centimetres tall, which evoke blocks of stone sculpted by memory rather than by erosion. Andriy and Olesya Voznicki combine engobe and glaze to create layered surfaces, where colour seems to emerge from the material itself. Presented together, the two vases interact like elements of a single site. These unique, signed pieces form part of a sculptural ceramic practice drawing on geology and memory.
