Description
Brigitte Thomy Chalice No. 2 Vase Ceramic One-off piece Date of creation: 2025 H20 D30cm The second piece in the Calices series, this work draws on the principle of a wide, shallow bowl, whose shape evokes both sacred vessels and the large bowls found in studio pottery. The numbered series allows Brigitte Thomy to explore, from one piece to the next, subtle variations in diameter, curve and surface texture, much like a musician revisiting a theme. Placed on a table or a console table, the bowl makes a striking impression with its calm presence and generous proportions.
