Description
Fabrice Ausset Webwood Side table Cast steel Year of creation: 2018 H68 W62 D79 cm Part of the Webwood series, this 2018 side table uses cast steel to evoke the image of a woven canvas, a metaphor for the network and the spider’s web so dear to Prévert. The metal, though dense and heavy, takes on the appearance of a light, almost organic interlacing, playing on the tension between strength and lightness. A piece on a domestic scale, offering a glimpse into Fabrice Ausset’s sculptural world.
