Description
Johan Viladrich ST02 Side table Brushed, waxed aluminium Signed Date of creation: 2023 Top: H45 W35 D28 cm Six aluminium plates, joined by stainless steel screws: the ST02 table is essentially this basic construction, which can be dismantled and transported flat. Johan Viladrich continues his pursuit of the absolute and uncompromising purity, where radical simplicity gives full rein to the interplay of proportions and materials. The vibrated finish, which creates fine striations on the metal’s surface before being waxed, softens the coldness of the aluminium and lends it a matt depth. A signature piece, in the tradition of constructive minimalism, from Donald Judd to contemporary design.
