Description
Tonino Negri Kasbah Lamp ceramic H33 W22 D22 cm The title evokes the architecture of the kasbahs of the Maghreb, earthen citadels with cubic forms and narrow openings. Tonino Negri draws on the idea of a compact, almost fortified structure, transposed into ceramic form. The choice of clay – the very material used in these structures – reinforces this connection. When lit, the lamp evokes an inhabited dwelling from which light filters out. A square-shaped piece that combines architectural reference with a narrative dimension, designed to be placed on a console table or coffee table.
