Description
Carlo Nason (born in 1935) LP256 Pair of wall lamps Blown and moulded glass panels H40 W40 D20cm Born in Murano into a family of glassmakers, Carlo Nason developed a significant body of lighting work in the 1960s and 1970s, applying a modern, geometric style to blown glass. These LP256 wall lights combine the techniques of glassblowing and moulding to create a glass panel with a dynamic surface that diffracts and softens the light. Their square shape makes them as much graphic elements as they are light sources. Presented in pairs, they can be used to frame a mirror, a bed or an opening symmetrically.
