Excelsior
Table lamp
Marble
Up & Up edition limited to 5 pieces
Date of creation: circa 2020
H42 D29 cm
Produced in a run of just five pieces by Up & Up, a firm specialising in marblework, the Excelsior lamp is a testament to Pierre Gonalons’ collaboration with stone craftsmen. Its name, emblematic of grand hotels and luxury establishments, evokes classic elegance and a certain sense of style. The marble, sculpted in three dimensions, gives the lamp the presence of a sculpture. With its very limited run and the nobility of its material, it is a collector’s piece in its own right.
