Description
Clément Brazille Vacuum Vase Glazed ceramic Vacuum series, limited to 50 pieces Date of creation: 2019 H38 W27 D27 cm The Vacuum series was born out of an experiment: sealing objects—chosen for the richness of their forms—in a vacuum, then casting them into ceramic forms with an enigmatic appearance. Through this series, Clément Brazille pursues a visual exploration of form and its imprint. The double-walled stoneware allows for pieces that are both functional and lightweight, whilst the variety of glazes and finishes makes each of the fifty pieces unique. A vase that explores the relationship between the object and its imprint, between the full and the empty.
