Description
Simone Negri Eroso #2 Wall sculpture Porcelain stoneware and blue enamel 2026 H36 W25 D8 cm With Eroso, meaning ‘eroded’, Simone Negri launches a distinct series within her Accadimenti: here, the form no longer arises from a sudden gesture, but seems to result from slow wear and tear, like the action of water or wind on rock. The porcelain stoneware and blue glaze thus evoke a fragment of a cliff or the seabed, suspended on the wall. This second instalment, created in 2026, is one of the very first pieces in this new line of exploration, which gives it particular significance within the artist’s body of work.
