Aldo Londi Table lamp Glazed stoneware Bitossi 1960 H36 D14 cm Sold without lampshade Artistic director of the Bitossi factory in Montelupo Fiorentino, Tuscany, from the post-war period onwards, Aldo Londi brought about a profound renewal in Italian ceramic production, notably with the famous Rimini Blu series. His design language combines incised or stamped decorations, geometric motifs and deep glazes, striking a balance between mass production and artisanal craftsmanship. This 1960 lamp base, made of glazed stoneware, dates from this innovative period that brought Bitossi international renown. A piece representative of Italian ceramic design of the 1960s.
