Description
Riccardo Gori (born 1960)
Pair of table lamps
Porcelain with crystallised enamel decoration
Artist’s monogram on the reverse
Date of creation: 2000
Excluding lampshades: H19 D12 cm
Presented as a pair, these two small lamps present a particular challenge: as crystallised enamel never produces the same pattern twice, the pieces complement one another without being identical, like two variations on a theme. Their compact size makes them ideal for a bedside table, a desk or a console table, where the light makes the crystals in the porcelain shimmer. Riccardo Gori combines practical function with ceramic artistry.
