Description
Marzio Rusconi Clerici Shakti Wall 120 Pair of large wall lights Laser-cut tubular Plexiglas diffuser, shown here in fuchsia and white. Their slender shape produces diffused light at both ends Kundalini Edition Date of creation: 2002 H120 W17 D12 cm A Milan-based design studio founded in the late 1990s, Kundalini has made coloured light and organic forms its signature, drawing on Indian spiritual vocabulary: in the Tantric tradition, ‘kundalini’ and ‘shakti’ refer to vital energy and the creative feminine principle. Designed by Marzio Rusconi Clerici in 2002, the Shakti Wall wall lights feature a laser-cut Plexiglas tubular diffuser stretching 1.2 metres in length, which produces diffused light at both ends. The fuchsia and white finish accentuates their graphic presence. A spectacular pair, representative of Italian lighting design from the 2000s.
