Paris, Veuve Duchesne, 1787. 2 volumes in one volume, in-18 (120 x 80 mm), brown calfskin, spine with raised bands richly decorated in the 18th-century style, title label in red morocco, double gilt fillet framing the covers, gilt edges, interior lace. (19th-century binding). A rare edition included in the Cazin collection (same format and paper). The author was a former provisions supplier. The collection comprises 8 plays: *He Who Loses Wins, or The Ungrateful Man Without Knowing It*; *The Curious Man*; *A Favour Returned, or The Merchant*; *The Newcomers*; *The False Miser*; *The Bachelor*; *The Foiled Plot*; *The Family of Mr Giraud*.
