ÆDUI Mont Beuvray region (Bibracte) 2nd BC Laurelled Apollonian profile on the right, with pearl necklace and prominent nose, a lock of hair falling in front of the nose. Triskel under the ear and fleuron in front of the mouth. R/. Bige of horses led on the right by an charioteer holding the reins. Beneath the horse a triskel. ♦ DT 3039 Gold statere with triskel (class III). (7.51 g) Beaune type. Broad and cracked flan. Nice portrait. Slight graffiti on reverse. Very fine/T.B.
