Sicily, Messina. Tetradrachm ND (420–413 BC), Messina (Messana).
Obverse: ΜΕΣΣ – ΑΝΑ. The nymph Messena, clad in a long chiton, driving a pair of mules to the right; no distinguishing mark in the exergue.
Rev. ΜΕΣ-Σ-Α-Ν-ΙΟ-Ν. A leaping hare to the right, a swimming dolphin to the right below.
