Sicily, Syracuse, Dionysius the Elder (406–367 BC). Trihemiobol or 20 litrae of silver (1 tetradrachm) ND (405–400 BC), Syracuse.
Obverse: ΣΥΡ. Beardless head of Heracles facing left, wearing the lion’s skin.
Rev. Σ – Υ – Ρ – Α. Quadripartite hollow square containing the letters of the legend; in the centre, within a hollow circle, the head of Artemis facing left.

The strike is centred with a high-relief bust facing right; the reverse is slightly clovered. With a golden patina. Superb, mint condition.
