Obverse: FRENCH REPUBLIC / (varies) YEAR (date) (varies). Within a wreath formed of two oak branches: 24 LIVRES. and (mint).
Reverse: REGNE DE LA LOI. The Genius of France engraving the word CONSTITUTION (in two lines) on a tablet of the law resting on an altar, flanked by a fasces on the left and a cockerel on the right. Cursive signature ‘DUPRÉ’ engraved on the base of the altar. In the exergue: (date).

A few fine filing marks on the obverse and minimal hairline scratches. This specimen has seen virtually no circulation and displays very fine golden-orange lustre. Superb in mint condition.
