Obverse: NAPOLEON EMPEREUR. Laureate head facing right, with the cursive signature ‘Tiolier’ below.
Reverse: REPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE. Within a wreath formed of two branches: 1 FRANC; below (variant) (date). (mint mark).

Top Pop: this is the only graded specimen! From the R. Margolis collection, originating from a Bank Leu “Napoleon” sale, 15 October 1975, lot no. 286.

This is the smallest mintage in this series, with just 13,439 examples! The only example graded by PCGS. Wear is even, with no major flaws. The patina is grey on the obverse and bluish on the reverse. Very Fine.
