Jean-Élisée PUIFORCAT (1897–1945) Silver champagne bucket with a tubular body featuring bevelled sides, a fluted lower section and a slightly flared circular base. Solid, geometrically shaped handles in exotic wood, encircled by three silver rings. Removable silver-plated metal insert. A havana-coloured pouch bearing the maker’s monogram. Signed in full on the reverse; silversmith’s maker’s mark and hallmark on the bucket and on each handle; and a square hallmark on the reverse of the insert.
