Clément MÈRE (in the style of) Sideboard in Macassar ebony veneer with a curved quadrangular body and a projecting top with a high band ornamented with small Bakelite plaques, opening via two solid doors on the front inlaid with four volutes surrounding a medallion of ivory or bone? carved with a stylised floral motif on a background enhanced with gilding, and a lower band decorated with Greek fretwork. Interior featuring two long, height-adjustable shelves. Corner base with tubular, projecting legs and a bevelled body terminating in metal feet. Metal lock plate decorated with stylised flowers.
