Clément MÈRE (in the style of) A chest of drawers with a curved quadrangular body in Macassar ebony veneer and a front adorned with Bakelite mouldings and two medallions of ivory or bone, carved with a stylised floral motif against a background enhanced with gilding. Central door opening onto an interior with four shelves of variable height. Corner base with tubular, stepped legs and a bevelled body ending in metal feet. Lower band decorated with Bakelite mouldings featuring a Greek fret pattern, and upper section in tiers with small rectangular panels of cream-coloured Bakelite. Metal lock plate with stylised floral decoration.
