Clément MÈRE (in the style of) A chest of drawers with a curved quadrangular body in Macassar ebony veneer and a front adorned with Bakelite mouldings and two medallions of ivory or bone, carved with a stylised floral design against a background enhanced with gilding. Central door opening onto an interior with four shelves of variable height. Corner base with projecting tubular legs and a bevelled body finished with metal feet. Lower section decorated with Bakelite mouldings featuring a Greek fret pattern; upper section stepped with small rectangular panels of cream-coloured Bakelite. Metal keyhole with stylised floral decoration.
