Henning KOPPEL (1918–1981) & Georg JENSEN (silversmith) Silver coffee pot with a curved, spinning-top-shaped body and a detached side handle in gayacan Model 1017 from the silversmith’s catalogue, created in 1952. Signed on the reverse, silversmith’s hallmark, located in Denmark, marked ‘Sterling’, numbered 1017. Swan hallmark Height: 12.5 cm Weight: 656 g History: this piece won a gold medal at the Milan Triennale in 1954. Provenance: Tajan auction, Paris, 24 November 1997, lot 114.
