Worn gold case back with two traces of an owl hallmark, a trace of the Rolex symbol and a serial number that is not visible. Gold-coloured dial, square applied hour markers set with brilliant-cut diamonds, date window at 3 o’clock with Cyclops lens. Baton-style hands, inscribed “Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust – Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified” Self-winding mechanical movement. “President” style bracelet with three semi-circular links in yellow gold. Invisible folding clasp in 18K yellow gold, stamped with the Rolex logo, inscribed “ROLEX GENEVE / SWISS MADE”, hallmarks “750”, master’s mark and the head of Helvetia, numbered 8570. Diameter: 25 mm Gross weight: 57.8 g A Rolex dial set with small brilliant-cut diamonds is included, gross weight: 3 g Stemming from an exceptional artistic background, the collection of Colette Gazanion, known as Colette Gaza, bears witness to her close ties with the worlds of art and fashion. The daughter of the poet Édouard Gazanion, she grew up surrounded by figures such as Francis Carco, Apollinaire, Max Jacob, Picasso, Braque and Chagall. A music-hall singer, she subsequently moved in the circles of haute couture and the arts.
