Henning KOPPEL (1918–1981) & Georg JENSEN (silversmith) Silver bowl, design created in 1948 with a free-form conical body resting on a hollow central base with asymmetrical legs, model 980 from the silversmith’s catalogue. Signed on the reverse of one of the legs with the silversmith’s mark, located in Denmark, marked ‘Sterling’ and numbered 980. Swan hallmark Height: 15 cm – diameter: 39 cm / weight: 3,274 g History: this piece won a gold medal at the Milan Triennale in 1951.
