Description
[NATURALIA]
Pair of bookends made from a section of fossilised tree trunk
11 x 14 cm
These fossilised wood bookends reveal the full mineral beauty of a material shaped by time. Their concentric grain patterns, in shades of brown, fawn and ivory, almost form an abstract landscape, as if frozen in time for millennia. They lend a mysterious, earthy quality, evoking a sense of eternal stability where natural history, scholarship and sombre elegance intertwine.
