Description
[ARTIFICIALIA]
A pair of small, finely chiselled brass candlesticks, with fluted shafts and bases featuring a swirling foliage motif
19th-century work
19 x 9.5 cm
Minor knocks to the bases
This pair of candlesticks, with their elegant neoclassical silhouette, lends itself particularly well to a refined display. Far removed from conventional décor, their gilded metal interacts here with deep hues, antique pieces and red berries to create an atmosphere that is both mysterious and sophisticated. A setting that evokes a cabinet of curiosities at twilight rather than a traditional Halloween, where the strange is cloaked in elegance.
