• Designed as scrolling links, each set with a turquoise cabochon
• Length 34 cm

William Spratling (1900-1967) was an American-born silversmith who opened his workshop in Taxco, Mexico, in 1931. Drawing on pre-Columbian motifs reinterpreted in a modernist idiom, he combined heavy silver with local stones to distinctive effect. Regarded as the father of the modern Mexican silver movement, his work remains highly sought after by collectors today.
