ORDER OF THE LEGION OF HONOUR (1802) – SECOND EMPIRE (1852–1870) - KNIGHT’S STAR, luxury model known as the ‘CENT GARDES’, in chiselled silver and enamel, hallmarked with a boar’s head, 66 x 42 mm, ribbed arms, three-part gold-enamelled centres, crown in high relief, some chips to the blue enamel of the centres and to the white enamel on certain points, ribbon tapered at the fold, BE.
