PLAN AND SURVEY OF THE CHÂTEAU DE LA SOURCE, dated 20 August 1676 and signed by Fleury — (Jean Fleury, 1613–1679, surveyor, juror in the bailiwick of Orléans. The National Library of France (BNF) and the National Archives hold numerous plans by him). The drawing depicts the estate of the Château de la Source near Orléans, with its gardens, orchards, vineyards and watercourses, stretching between the localities known as Gobefon and Monlibert. Period vellum, pen-and-ink drawing with gouache highlights.
