A rare album of miniature velvet samples for dress from the second half of the 18th century, compiled in the 20th century and entitled *Envoi de Tassinari & Chatel*, featuring the most remarkable chiselled, pinned and textured velvets, lamé and woven with gold and silver thread, designs of scattered florets or inscribed in reserve on sinuous patterns, floral stripes and geometric motifs. Approximately 432 samples in good condition, 3.5 x 7.5 cm.
