A superb embroidered screen panel modelled on the Gaudin piece and samples of the border, produced under the supervision of Savournin in 1789–1790, Manufacture Hamot, circa 1900, cream silk satin embroidered with polychrome silk in Beauvais stitch and chenille thread, depicting an open birdcage surmounting an escaped dove perched on a profuse bouquet of flowers and foliage, 160 x 84 cm.
