Description
Georges Dufrenoy (1870–1943) – Salon d’Automne, Paris, Esplanade des Invalides. 1937. Printed by L’affiche d’art Paris. 160 × 120 cm / 63 × 47.2 in. Original poster, lithograph, unmounted. Grade A.
That year, the Salon had to move to the Invalides as an exception, as the World’s Fair was taking place at the same time. It is worth noting that the charcoal drawing reproduced on this poster depicts a view of Lyon.
