Description
Cinema – Erotica – Constantin Belinsky (1904–1999) – *The Diabolical Superman*. 1969. 158.5 × 119 cm / 62.5 × 46.7 in. Original poster, offset print, not mounted on canvas. Condition A – traces of original creases.
An innovative poster depicting a superhero with a robot. However, in this kitsch film—a science-fiction comedy—the hero Argoman bears more resemblance to Oss 117 than to Marvel’s Superman, whose kryptonite is a woman’s kiss.
A colourful vintage, pop and futuristic aesthetic. Ref: Choko, page 343.
