Six (6) etchings (2 plates).
29 x 42 cm (each plate).
Signed or monogrammed in each plate (except 1), some dated.
Attached are 3 modern prints on ivory laid paper: an old woman reading a book, known as "Rembrandt's mother"; a bust of an old man with a beard and an old man in profile.
These are plates 1 to 6, 8 and 9 from the collection of 14 engravings by Michal Plonski, published in Amsterdam in 1802, then in Paris around 1806. The old woman reading a book reproduces a painting by Gérard Dou in 1664.
