A soldier in the 2nd Polish Infantry Division, Jan Fortuna moved to Switzerland in 1940 after the French campaign. He was involved in editing Goniec Obozowy, a periodical published by Polish soldiers interned between 1940 and 1945. The set of engravings presented here, published in three languages (Polish, French and German), is devoted to the soldiers' daily lives.
