Description
SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS Pencil sketch. Artist: Ward Kimball (1914–2002) / Director: David HAND / Studio: Walt Disney Productions / Year: 1937 / Based on the fairy tale by the Brothers GRIMM. Animation frame depicting Happy in a deleted soup-eating scene. In this sequence, the seven dwarfs enjoy a bowl of soup after tidying up, accompanied by a new song entitled ‘Music in Your Soup’. The sequence was ultimately cut because Disney felt it made the dwarfs’ bath scene too long. This deleted sequence was eventually made available as bonus material and online. It can be identified from around 3 min 03 s into the sequence available online. The paper used by Disney Studios in the 1920s and 1930s features a distinctive watermark. An Aguttes certificate is enclosed. Dimensions: 30 × 25 cm.
