LATE 19TH-CENTURY PIECE High-backed armchair in rattan and rattan pith, with a pediment openworked with a four-leaf clover motif; the frame is accented by a frieze of rings and garlands of twisted rattan. Base with glides joined by cross-braces. Backrest and seat upholstered in floral-patterned fabric; rolled armrests (showing signs of wear). Circa 1880 Height 120 cm – Width 63 cm – Depth 70 cm - An armchair associated with the work of Alfred Perret’s Maison des Bambous.
