FRENCH WORK 1925 A set of five chairs in walnut with Macassar ebony and burl walnut veneers, featuring straight backs with bevelled sides and carved geometric motifs. Front legs are square in section with moulded edges; rear legs are sabre-shaped. Backrest and seat upholstered in fawn leather (leather is worn, stained and cracked; there is a tear at the front edge of the seat, and scratches and minor knocks to the veneers). Circa 1925 Height 86 cm – Width 48 cm – Depth 54 cm
