GERMAN WORK, 1925 Chair in solid exotic wood with a high, straight backrest; the frame is openwork with geometric motifs in stepped sections carved with stylised palmettes, and the central panel is upholstered. A belt of stepped spandrels; straight legs with a square cross-section moulded with fillets, ending in stepped blocks; sabre-shaped rear legs. Backrest and seat spring-supported, upholstered in black fabric with a diamond-patterned design (rear upholstery).
