VAN PELT Bas (1900–1945) Large oak armchair with a fan-shaped sloping backrest and detached armrests with a concave profile, finished with scrolls. Tapered base with prominent edges, joined by lateral struts. Backrest and seat upholstered in havana-coloured imitation leather. Bears the ‘Bas van Pelt’ mark. Circa 1930 H 130 cm – W 66 cm – D 80 cm - History: Designed for Huizen Town Hall in North Holland.
