KIENZLE Wilhelm (1886–1958) & WOHNBEDARF (Published by) Armchair known as the ‘Kolonialsessel’, with a detachable beech frame and a swivelling backrest upholstered in havana-coloured leather. Tapered legs joined by cross-braces, and slightly sabre-shaped at the rear. Seat and armrests in natural leather. Model designed in 1928 H 89 cm – W 55 cm – D 63 cm - Bibliography : The model appears in a documentary photograph held at the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich, Designsammlung, ‘M 125 Kombinationsmöbel’, circa 1960, archive no. SWB-0002-0014-0043, part of the permanent collection of the Schweizerischer Werkbund.
