FRANK Josef (1885–1967) (attributed to) & THONET-MUNDUS (published by) ‘A 413 F’ model armchair in stained beech, with a curved wooden backrest fitted with vertical bamboo rods, and armrests formed by a second curved section extending down to the front legs. Seat made of moulded beech plywood. Bentwood base joined by cross-braces. Bears the manufacturer’s ‘THONET’ label. Circa 1930 Height 90.5 cm – Width 60 cm – Depth 66.5 cm - History: The model appears in the Thonet-Mundus catalogue no. 230 from 1931, plate 9.
