Description

Seat with a rounded front edge, lacquered white on the upper surface. Backrest with a curved top, lacquered orange on the front, supported by two flat, screw-fixed uprights. Height 79 cm – Width 45 cm – Depth 56 cm This piece is reminiscent of the work of the Chicago School of Design, the New Bauhaus, founded in 1937 by László Moholy-Nagy, particularly the designs and ideas of Hin Bredendieck and Nathan Lerner. The lines also reveal influences from Marcel Breuer and Isamu Noguchi.
