TAPIOVAARA Ilmari (1914–1999) & ASKO LAHTI (Edited by) ‘Mademoiselle’ chair in black-lacquered birch, with a sloping backrest formed of nine openwork slats, joined by a curved band. Solid wood seat. Tapered, flared base joined by an ‘H’-shaped crossbar (shows signs of wear and scratches). Bears the manufacturer’s label ‘EXPORT – ASKO’.
