PANTON, Verner (1926–1998) & FRITZ HANSEN (Published by) ‘F’ model armchair from the ‘System 1-2-3’ series, known as the ‘De Luxe’, with a high backrest and a bent chrome-plated steel tube frame forming the armrests. Circular swivel base in cast aluminium. Black leather upholstery with tufted detailing. Circa 1974 H 117 cm – W 70 cm – D 78 cm - Bibliography: ‘Verner Panton – The Collected Works’, published by the Vitra Design Museum, Weil am Rhein, 2000; a similar model is shown on pp. 64 and 266.
